Today was sunnier and warmer than it's been in a while. Here are shots of my ribes, columbine front and back enjoying the sun.

A random blog about gardening, hiking, native plants and other things
Hello Brad! There you go again, showing off your amazing columbines. So seriously, level with me here... what kind of soil do you have? exposure? You've got me obsessed with getting one of these darn things bigger than 3" high and sans powdery mildew!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I love the contrast of the rainy post and sunny one.
I have not had much luck with Columbine either....but I am seriously thinking about adding a Ribes...it's just lovely.
ReplyDeleteI'm still jealous of your ribes, but perhaps if the sun stays out for a while, ours will catch up soon. Your columbine is stunning too...but here I'm afraid it would be an underappreciated hors d'oeuvre for the deer.
ReplyDeleteYou've got some happy plants there... This is the first year for a ribes in my garden. So far no flowers...keeping my fingers crossed...
ReplyDeletewho knew you are growing ladders in the backyard
