Another Fall Harvest - Salvia apiana aka White sage

Drying white sage (Salvia apiana) from our front yard. We use it as incense and now in teas (infusions for the sticklers) as well.

  1. Nice harvest! That'll keep you stocked in tea for awhile. Your house must smell amazing.

  2. I'm a huge tea lover but have never experimented with sage. Sounds very interesting...

  3. That is a bumper crop! I'm familiar with it as incense, but can't say I've tried an 'infusion' with it.

  5. I'll have to try some. I've had salvia clevelandii before.

  6. I had a tea that was a blend of white sage and something that was labeled "wild mint" (maybe a monarda species?). With just a drip of honey it was amazingly good.
